Networking Opportunities

Marketing and getting the word out about your business is many things, but easy is not one of them. This is where networking becomes a key ingredient in your business.

Networking plays a vital role in the prosperity of a company especially for new to the market businesses.

All our workshops, programs, and events provide an opportunity to network. Our specific networking events include our Business Breakfast offered on an ongoing basis in Adelaide. This 45 minute talk is presented by skilled business professionals on varying small business topics. Our Business Breakfasts offer the opportunity for question and answer as well as networking with other small business owners.

We provide a number of workshops and networking opportunities to help grow your small business knowledge and increase your success. All of our workshops provide time for networking.

Mentoring and Business Advisory

Business Advisory

Business Advisory is a FREE 60-minute one-on-one business consultation with one of our experienced business advisors, who have expertise in all matters related to starting and growing a small business. They are available to offer advice, including providing contacts to professionals and experts who can offer assistance in certain areas.

We aim to provide you with direction for operating, or commencing, a business.

Business Mentoring

Are you thinking of starting a business or currently running one? Our business facilitators can help you with a variety of issues you will run into.

New Enterprise Incentive Scheme

If you are an eligible job seeker and are interested in starting and running a small business, you may be able to access assistance through the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).
NEIS training is a Centrelink approved activity for up to 13 weeks. This allows time for completing the course (normally eight weeks), assessment of your business plan by your NEIS provider, and any final business preparations.

The Young Entrepreneur Business Mentoring Program

We can help a young business owner by providing a mentor to guide them through the experience of running a business.The Young Entrepreneur Business Mentoring Program is an opportunity to:-

  • Target issues which significantly impact your business development
  • Tackle key concerns relevant to small businesses operating in specific industry sectors.
  • The Young Entrepreneur Program offers long-lasting business skills, online discussion forums and sessions for relevant and real issues coupled with networking opportunities with other like-minded young business owners who are also just starting to grow their businesses.

Beyond the Basics Mentor Program

This program assists emerging women business owners to grow their business by linking them with experienced business people. Using a combination of mentoring and practical sessions, the program assists women to improve their business skills and confidence, foster networking and successfully manage business growth.

Training & Development

In association with Target Training,
ISBEC offers accredited, nationally recognised, and non-accredited small business courses and workshops covering all areas relating to the needs of small business and the business management issues they face. Check out our Upcoming Events to learn more.

In conjunction with Target Training we will be running Government funded qualifications for your staff in:-

  • Certificates III and IV in Business (sales, customer service, administration, finance)
  • Certificates III and IV in Frontline Management (leadership, promoting team effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement)
  • Certificate III in Retail Services

Hire Facilities

Boardroom Hire

ISBEC has an 8 seat boardroom that can be hired by the hour, day or week.
Catering is also possible. Click here for more information.

Training Room Hire

ISBEC has a training room that will seat up to 60 people in lecture style, and boasts facilities such as overhead projectors, video, whiteboard and a lectern.
